Visited Cardiff again for Speedway GP held at Millenium Stadium. Hotel ideally situated for venue - no outside window to room, very claustrophobic!! Visited Cardiff Bay - great area for eating/drinking, Millenium Centre - amazing building - and Cardiff Castle.

Visit The Bay in Cardiff

The Bay area was well worth a visit, but by staying in the centre of Cardiff meant that one had to either drive or get a taxi there, as the Royal Hotel only had a parking agreement with NCP. We had a 45 minute drive round one-way streets before we realised we had to park to get to our hotel - no mean feat in the rain and with luggage, especially when the hotel lift to the second floor was out of order!

A Day at the Match

Stayed at thr royal while over for a soccor match.location is perfect as only a short stroll to the millinium stadium and surrounded by loads of bars and nightlife.however layout/access and condition of reception leaves a lot to be desired.

A really good few days except that the hotel is too near night clubs in the city centre and was very noisy until the early hours.
