Christmas Shopping Expedition

Christmas shopping in Glasgow was very successful! Saturday there were too many people and queues but Sunday AM was really good and I think I have cracked my complete list. River Cafe we found disappointing. It was expensive and we thought the food was just OK where it should have been special.

Birthday Weekend

Used city tour bus all weekend as it went to where we wished to visit. Attractions all open bar Science Centre, which is closed Mondays. Plenty to visit and not enough time to do so.

Museums & Art

All the museums/art galleries in Glasgow are FREE. The collection at the Kelvin is very Impressive. The Macintosh "house" is a MUST. Cabs are cheap, always on time and drivers are curtious and friendly. Trains run every five minutes. The underground is efficient. you don't need a private car in central Glasgow.
