"Down Hall Hotel was an excellent place to stay for a friends edding at nearby Maidens Barn. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, excellent accomodation, great breakfast and a pretty good price too.

Short Break in Hatfield Heath

The hotel is lovely and the grounds are amazing. The pool is small but we enjoyed our time there. The staff were unhelpful and at times rude, 6 of us wanted to dine in the grill but they only had a table of 2 and 4 and refused to push them together to make a table for 6 - we therefore went down the road to the local pub and enjoyed a good selection of meals there.
