The comfortable and well serviced Craigellachie Hotel is an ideal base for touring the Malt Whisky distilleries of Morayshire and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Hotel bar has a world-class selection of malts in its Quaich Bar which is known throughout the world - hence the multi-national visitors. The biggest and best surprise was the Morayshire/Banffshire coastal trail which was just breathtaking and full of wildlife both in the sea and the air. Award-winning fish and chip meals in Ullapool ! Mouthwatering smoked haddock omlette at the Shieldaig Inn
