Relaxing break away

I just brought it for a my boyfriend for his birthday something relaxing away from work!! Didn't have much planned to do but just loved the atmosphere and it was a stunning place to go have recommended it to my clients! A good weekend away!

Crabwall Manor

I was a little disapoointed with this hotel. The decor is old and tired. It si out of date and in desperate need of refurbishing. There were not enough staff manning the small bar and staffing at breakfast was very poor. The buffet ran out of a lot of hot food and this was not replaced. The tables were not cleared often enough and the toast was cold. I was expecting much better service and standards at this hotel. Chester is a lovely city. Well worth visiting. So is Chester Zoo. A great day out.

Found hotel well below average, bathroom was huge but old and dirty with broken tiles. Room was big but again in desperate need of refurb. Breakfast was yummy, Spa complete disapointment, the heater wasnt working so pool and jaccusi were freezing so we only stayed in 5 mins. Ive stayed in much grander places for a lot less money
