We stayed at the City Inn Manchester, which has just opened and has a fantastic location! Literally 2 minute walk from Piccadilly station and only 10 minutes away from the Arndale Centre. Shopping in Manchester is unbeatable as it has every shop you can think of. The hotel itself is contempary with friendly staff, and offers little extras that you wouldn't necessarily get with other hotels. Imacs are available as standard in every room, however don't forget to take your USB cable if you want to play your Ipod in your room. Will definitely be staying at the City Inn when I return to Manchester.

Genesis on Tour

went to see genesis at old trafford, found a few very good pubs in the center of manchester,tour by bus was excellent value at ?7 and getting around by tram was excellent value.

Short Break in Manchester

Macdonald Hotel could not accommodate us and we where transferred to City Hotel. It was only their 2nd day of opening and they were obviously not ready for customers
