City Inn Manchester was a fantastic hotel. The staff were excellent and everything about the hotel was spot on. Had a great night out in Manchester-no hassle at all.The bars were busy and the prices were reasonable. We traveled to Liverpool by train, no hold ups or delays.We had a great weekend break.

Good location - right next to train station and tram links - excellent welcoming reception staff and lots of them so no waiting around - very knowledgeable about area/hotel faciltiies, did not get to try the gym as I was unwell with a cold - when I checked in the reception lady even kindly offered to send me up a hot lemon! Hows that for service?!! Stay in manchester regularly with work commitments and would defo return to this joint. The room service was quick and they did me a jacket potato instead of chips, always good! The food could have been improved with a bit of side salad or veggies - looked plainly presented. Great brekkie - loadsa choices and some different things on the menu! Rooms clean , tidy and loads of stuff in drawers/mini bar with drinks not too overly priced, Would recommend this place - only thing they could do to improve would be to add swimming pool/spa facilties.

Ladies weekend

We stayed at the City Inn,Manchester where we had an excellent meal on arrival. Next day my daughter and I had a fantastic day being pampered with new hair cuts, make over and had our photos taken. My sister in law and niece hit the shops! We spent the evening in Manchester city centre and the following day visited the Trafford Centre. The rooms were excellent and my daughter particularly liked the internet facilities! Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect- easy walking distance to shopping and night life.
