A very friendly hotel. First impressions count for a lot - this was excellent. Personalised letter introducing the hotel was good and complimentary drinks in the bar/pub was gratefully received. Would we stop there again? Yes without hesitation. Very close to both Glasgow Central and Queen Street Railway stations.

Visit to the Ballet

Very enjoyable stay .Hotel very comfortable albeit the room which was on the first floor was quite dark, (lights had to be on all day) no view possibly due to design of building. Good shopping, theatre , ballet very good,to be repeated.

Short Break in Glasgow

We made full use of the hotel facilities, which included a free bar from 3.00pm. We had dinner in the hotel in the lovely window restaurant and had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. We went to the Eagles concert in Hampden Park and had a great night. We got the train back and went back to the hotel. We had a really nice breakfast in the morning and then did some shopping, before getting the train home. A great week-end in a 1st class hotel.
