We visited the Marriot Royal in Bristol. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful, the room comfortable and spacious. This hotel has a brilliant central location for shopping and going out, but the flipside of this was that the room was noisy at night due to Bristol's hectic nightlife. The pool is nice.

Marriot Hotel Bristol

Good location, but rooms at the front of the hotel can get rather noisy at night. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Lovely breakfast!

lovely hotel, but we chose it for the leisure facilities and the jacuzzi was broken. Room and food very nice though.

There were lots of corporate Xmas meals in the restaurants and the staff failed to explain how this fitted in with guests wishing to dine. Hence we ate out. As there were no facilities for smokers there tended to be a huddle outside the main door and people from the corporate dinners were allowed to open firedoors in the bar to go outside which made sitting in the bar very cold and unwelcoming. The room facilities were excellent with a very comfortable and large bed which was well serviced. A wide range of fare at breakfast catered for all tastes.
