We took our children to Lightwater Valley on the Saturday. Stayed over at Redworth Hall and went to the Rail Museum on the Sunday. Blessed with wonderful weather those precious hours will always be remembered. There is something in the little one's laughter, the care free excitement that triggers something in all us. Reminding us that somewhere a fun loving child still lives inside every single one of us. The weather was great. The attractions were fantastic. The hotel, food, pool and staff were exceptional. I genuinely can't think of a better way to spend a weekend - anywhere in the world!

A customer from County Durham who stayed at this hotel wrote this review.
My weekend break was a Mother's day gift from my wonderful family. The booking was done via superbreak.com, their advisor was very polite, professional and helpful and dealt with the booking promptly. The hotel was an idilic retreat for a weekend break. It was a very large distinctive hotel set in acres of land the service received from the staff. was warm and welcoming. The room was light, airy, spacious and comfortable and very importantly clean. I dined in the hotel restaurant, there was a varied choice of dishes available on the menu. My meal was excellent, complements to the chef, it was expensive but worth it.I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it. It is suitable for an individual.couple, family or a group the facilities cater for everyone.
